CAPE TOWN - The case against two men accused of the murder of a 10-year-old Parkwood boy has been postponed to next week.

Enrico Harrison and Selfiro Petersen made their fourth appearance in the Wynberg Magistrates Court earlier today.

The pair was arrested shortly after Jayden Smith was killed during gang crossfire outside his home at the end of January.

Today was set aside for a formal bail application for the two accused, but the court was not ready to proceed.

The case has been postponed to Monday.

Harrison and Petersen's relatives once again filled the public gallery hoping the pair would be released from prison.

They've been behind bars since the fatal shooting occurred.

At a previous court appearance, Petersen's relatives confirmed to Eyewitness News the shooting was gang related.
