Ipid investigates after police shoot at the wrong vehicle

CAPE TOWN - The Independent Police Investigative Directorate (Ipid) is investigating a deadly shooting in Dunoon.
Police officers allegedly opened fire on a taxi on Wednesday night as they believed the vehicle had been used in an ATM robbery.
A woman was killed and another wounded in the shooting.
Ipid's Robbie Raburabu said, "The police were patrolling the area after they got a complaint that there's going to be an ATM bombing in the area. While patrolling, they spotted the vehicle that fitted the description they were given in the complaint."
