Three TUT students wounded after shooting, stabbing
Three TUT students were wounded in two separate crimes at the Metro Rail Station near its Pretoria campus.
JOHANNESBURG - The Tshwane University of Technology has confirmed three of its students have been wounded after being shot and stabbed in two separate crimes at the Metro Rail Station near its Pretoria west campus.
In the first attack, a 20-year-old student was shot and wounded in an apparent robbery and he is in a critical condition in hospital.
Two other students were stabbed at the same station in what also appears to have been a robbery. The pair are in a stable condition.
Spokesperson Willa de Ruyter said, "The Tshwane University of Technology is extremely concerned about these incidents of violence that took place this morning."
