JOHANNESBURG - Police say all those arrested during a service delivery protest in Modimolle yesterday have been released on a warning.

At least 88 people were taken into custody after an officer's house was burnt to the ground and the mayor's vehicle was set alight.

The police's James Finley says police are keeping a close eye on the situation.

"They have been released on warning and all their particulars have been taken. Investigations will continue and if any person is linked to a crime, they will be charged."
