Krejcir camp not ready to proceed with leave to appeal
Krejcir has been sentenced to an effective 35 years for attempted murder, kidnapping and drug dealing.
Krejcir was yesterday sentenced to an effective 35 years behind bars for kidnapping, attempted murder and drug dealing.
Desai Luphondo was also sentenced to 35 years, while the other four co-accused, including three police officers, were sentenced to 15 years each.
A legal representative on behalf of Cliff Alexander, who will be defending Krejcir, has told the court that they need time to prepare for the appeal against the conviction and sentence.
Legal counsel for the other accused agreed.
Judge Colin Lamont says he's not on criminal duty in the next term and they will need to arrange time for the matter to be heard.
It's likely that the case will be postponed.
