CAPE TOWN - Dozens of bikers have come out to honour the victims of a fatal shooting at a Hawston biker rally.

Rudi Salo, one of the victims who was shot and killed last weekend, has been laid to rest today.

The funeral of 19-year-old Randy Burgess who was also killed in the gun attack took place this morning.

Dozens of leather-clad bikers revved their motorcycles to honour fellow biker Salo while leading the funeral procession.

His coffin was carried in style in a special structure with large glass windows pulled along by a motorbike.

Salo was part of the Lee Riders Bikers Club.

His best friend Lorenzo Isaacs says Salo was passionate about motorbikes.

"He introduced me to the Lee Riders Bikers Club. This is big loss not only for the family but for the wider biking community."

Salo had five children.
