Ses'khona march gains numbers ahead of Sona
Buses continue to drop protesters along Keizergracht Street in the Cape Town CBD.
CAPE TOWN - More protestors are gathering in the Cape Town CBD ahead of a demonstration to be led by the Ses'khona Peoples Rights Movement ahead of President Jacob Zuma's State of the Nation Address (Sona).
This is one of several marches planned ahead of the opening of Parliament.
Demonstrators are in full voice singing old liberation struggle songs as they wait for more people to arrive.
Buses continue to drop protestors along Keizergracht Street.
Most of them are sporting African National Congress T-shirts while armed police officers are keeping a close eye on them.
Barbed wire barricades have been set up in parts of the CBD.
Past protests led by Ses'khona have turned violent.
