JOHANNESBURG - Convicted killer Donald Sebolai has conceded in court that he should've rushed Dolly Tshabalala to hospital after she was stabbed during an altercation, but says he was too traumatised when he realised he too had been wounded.

In October, the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court found the former Jozi Fm DJ had repeatedly stabbed his former girlfriend and even changed her blood stained clothes afterwards.

Mitigation and aggravation of sentence arguments continue this morning.

Speaking through an interpreter, Sebolai conceded that he could have done more to save Tshabalala's life.

Sebolai sobbed through each question he was asked about his former lover, while Tshabalala's family, who sat in the public gallery, could be heard saying "crocodile tears".

The former Jozi FM DJ says he never intended for her to die and that he still loves her.

He says he wishes he could go back in time and undo everything that happened on the day Tshabalala died.
