Argument led to alleged biker brawl in Hermanus

CAPE TOWN - Two people were killed and three others, including a police officer, remain in a critical condition in hospital after they were caught in an alleged biker brawl.

It's understood the suspect opened fire during an altercation at a bikers rally in Hawston on Saturday.

The motive for the shooting is still unclear.

Police spokesperson Constable Noloyiso Rwexana said, "Two victims, aged 22 and 25, were shot dead. According to the report, an argument occurred between the victim and the suspect when suspect began shooting at the victim. An off-duty Saps member stationed at Hermanus was also shot and she is currently in a critical condition in hospital."
