CAPE TOWN - Cape Town Disaster Management says Imizamo Yethu residents are receiving assistance to rebuild their homes.
The Hout Bay informal settlement was struck by yet another devastating fire that razed 60 dwellings and displaced 240 residents.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
The City's Charlotte Powell said, "The South African Red Cross Society has provided relief in the form hot meals, blankets and food parcels. And also the City's Human Settlement Department has issue out fire kits for the residents to rebuild."
At least 1,000 people were left homeless after a fire destroyed 500 shacks in December.
