Missing catamaran: Families demand answers from boat owners
The men were delivering a catamaran from Cape Town to Thailand but they never reached their destination.
CAPE TOWN - The families of three men that went missing at sea say they are struggling to get the owners of the catamaran the men were commandeering to cooperate with them.
Anthony Murray, Reginald Robertson and Jaryd Payne were last heard from in January 2015.
The men were delivering a catamaran from Cape Town to Thailand, but they never reached their destination.
The hull, believed to be that of the missing catamaran, was spotted last month, but recovery operations have failed.
Murray's sister in-law, Dianne Koetser said, "We've put in numerous requests to speak to the boat owners and they've been refused. So we're here, we're quite desperate, we can't understand why they're not talking to us."
