2 nabbed for R5.4 million worth of drugs near Knysna

JOHANNESBURG - The Hawks have arrested two men linked to a R5.4 million drug bust near Knysna in the Western Cape.

The men were nabbed with more than 100,000 individual Mandrax tablets hidden in a bakkie they were driving.

The suspects are expected to appear in the George Magistrates Court tomorrow.

The police's Malcolm Potje said, "The Hawks pulled over a suspicious vehicle and upon searching the vehicle they found black packets worth 108, 800 individual tablets and the value is estimated at R5.4 million."
