5 children found dead in freezer

CAPE TOWN - Northern Cape police have opened an inquest docket after the bodies of five children were found in a freezer.

It's believed the cousins, between the ages of three and seven, choked to death in Kakamas yesterday.

The police's Dimakatso Mooi says, "The grandmother of the children found them all suffocated inside an old freezer in their yard. It's believed the freezer locked accidentally while the kids were playing inside."
