UWC employee accused of raping 10 boys appears in court
The 47-year-old is suspected of raping boys between the ages of eight and 13.
CAPE TOWN - An IT administrator contracted to the University of the Western Cape has been arrested on sexual assault charges.
The 47-year-old suspect is accused of raping ten boys between the ages of eight and 13.
The man appeared in the Blue Down's Magistrates Court today.
Officials say the case is still under investigation and additional charges are expected to be added.
The university's Luthando Tyhalibongo says, "It has come to light that a contract staff member of the university has been arrested for a crime. The university is currently investigating the matter."
