JOHANNESBURG - Johannesburg Metro Police say the Randburg licensing station is now open.

Last week, the office was closed for at least three days, due to water cuts in the area.

Johannesburg Water says the affected pipes have been repaired, but will require more permanent attention soon.

Spokesperson Hilgard Matthews says they will inform the public one this has been done.

"The repair went ahead last week, however it is not a permanent repair because our team first have to do other technical interventions. We will schedule a permanent intervention and we will put that out in the social media, on our website and through the local councillors."
