Huguenot Tunnel reopened after truck overturned

CAPE TOWN - The Huguenot Tunnel has been reopened after a truck overturned in the early hours of the morning due to high speed winds.

A wind speed of nearly 100 km per hour was felt earlier today outside of the tunnel.

The Western Cape Traffic chief Kenny Africa is urging members of the public to drive safely as wind speeds are still high.

"The wind is still strong, please drive carefully and do not stop before you reach the tunnel."
