2 to appear in court for possession of tik & abalone

CAPE TOWN - Two Hawston men are expected in court today for the possession of tik and abalone worth more than R500,000.
The pair was arrested near Uniondale yesterday morning.
The police's Malcolm Pojie said, "They found the abalone on the back of the bakkie. It was concealed in plastic bags. Both were apprehended on the spot and they're currently facing charges of illegal possession of abalone as well as the driver was also found in possession of tik and he'll appear for possession of drugs as well."
