Mango urges big brands to join water distribution project
Mango is working with Operation Hydrate to provide relief to areas ravaged by the draught.
JOHANNESBURG - Mango Airlines says more people including big brands must get involved in the distribution of water to drought stricken areas.
The airlines has joined forces with non-governmental organisation Operation Hydrate to provide much needed relief to areas ravaged by the dry spell and extreme heat.
Mango spokesperson Hein Kaiser says South Africa is experiencing the worst drought in more than two decades and more people need to get involved in water distribution projects.
"From next week Mango will also be able to give an opportunity to all our guests, who are travelling with us, to make a contribution to the cause and to purchase water for Operation Hydrate via the call centre or the website or our mobile app. All our staff will be collecting and contributing water moving forward."
