JOHANNESBURG - Pretoria Moot police are on the hunt for four men and a woman who allegedly strangled a 45-year-old Bangladeshi national to death in Gezina, north of Pretoria.

It's understood the five suspects entered the Saria mini market this morning before robbing the shop owner and his 29-year-old brother of an undisclosed amount of cash and groceries.

The suspects fled the scene in a silver Toyota Avanza.

The police's Colette Weilbach says no arrests have been made.

"The unarmed men allegedly started to threaten the Bangladeshi men and made them lie down on the floor. The suspects put a plastic bag over the younger brother's head and allegedly strangled the older man."
