Water supply restored to parts of Randburg
Johannesburg Water has completed work on a main pipeline in Northcliff.
JOHANNESBURG - Joburg Water says its Linden reservoir is slowly filling up following a burst pipe in Northcliff yesterday.
The utility says it's completed work on the main pipeline providing water to Randburg and surrounding areas.
This is the second burst pipe after the same reservoir ran dry last week.
Spokesperson Hilgard Matthews said, "Some areas might experience water back in their system already and others that are higher lying will experience water later during the day."

Matthews says more maintenance work can be expected to be carried out on Monday and warned residents to use water sparingly.
"We anticipate that we will do a more permanent fix next Monday; we will do it at night and hopefully [residents] will not experience any break in service."
