Officers, over the past week, arrested 55 suspects on a rash of charges including drug possession.
Safety operations are expected to continue throughout the festive season.
As part of a festive season crackdown, Hanover Park police are working around the clock to rid the area of crime.
The latest success yesterday saw the arrest of a 49-year-old man for the possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Apart from the confiscation of several weapons and ammunition, police also ceased tik, mandrax, heroine and liquor.
Two months ago, rival gangs forced the local clinic to close its doors, as the safety of patients and staff was at risk.
Patients and staff were relocated to the neighbouring Newfileds Village satellite clinic.
