3rd suspect arrested in Rhodes Park attack expected in court

The suspect is believed to be one of 12 men who attacked two couples at the park in October.

JOHANNESBURG - The third suspect in the Rhodes Park double murder and rape will appear in the Johannesburg Magistrates Court today.

The suspect is believed to be one of 12 men who attacked two couples at the Kensington park in October.

He was arrested on Friday evening in Sunnyside Park in Pretoria.

While police continue to search for the remaining nine perpetrators, three of the men will appear in the Johannesburg Magistrates Court today.

The suspects face charges of murder, rape and attempted rape.

The murders and rape left the local community shocked and it's hoped more arrests will be made soon.
