3 die in taxi accident near Swellendam

CAPE TOWN - Three people have been killed in a taxi accident on the N2 highway near Swellendam outside Cape Town bringing to 12 the number of road fatalities in the Western Cape this weekend.

In a separate accident two people died in a crash between Botriver and Caledon.

Provincial traffic chief Kenny Africa has more said, "Three teenagers died on Friday evening and in Knysna one pedestrian lost his life."
