Free State speedster caught clocking 221km/h
The motorist was arrested in Ventersburg in the Free State last night.
JOHANNESBURG - A motorist has been arrested after he was caught doing the highest speed recorded this festive season of 221km/h.
The man was arrested in Ventersburg in the Free State last night.
He was travelling from Gauteng.
He has since been released on R2000 bail.
Another driver was arrested for travelling at 199km/hour also in the Free State in the town of Odendaalsrus.
The RTMC'S Simon Zwane says the reckless conduct of some motorists is a form of arrogance on the roads.
