CAPE TOWN - Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Doctor Khumalo says they will get over their Telkom Knockout defeat midweek against Sundowns ahead of their league clash against Bidvest Wits.

Chiefs lie in fourth, eight points behind log leaders Wits.

Speaking in Cape Town ahead of the match, Khumalo says Chiefs are excited to get their league campaign back on track.

"We're looking forward to playing against Wits because it's not going to be an easy game. At the moment they're on top, they're the better side and a different team compared to Sundowns. Their approach will be different, but we are not cry-babies. It's [Telkom Knockout] gone and we're going to focus on Saturday's game."

Khumalo says the league race is still wide open.

"I'm looking at the log. If you win two games, then you're closer. Anything is possible."

Kick-off is at 6pm.
