Google year in search: SA's trending topics in 2015

Flabba, Simba Mhere and Cassper Nyovest were among the top 10 trending South Africans this year.

JOHANNESBURG - Google has released its Zeitgest for 2015 which lists the most searched topics over the year, with load shedding at the top of South Africa's overall searches.

Slain rapper Nkululeko 'Flabba' Habedi and Top Billing presenter Simba Mhere, who died in a car crash earlier this year, were among those popular on the search engine.

Global trends include Lamar Odom, Adele and Caitlyn Jenner.
