Katlehong murders: Suspects believed to be cousins of victims
Two teenage girls & a baby were stabbed, beaten & drowned by 2 men in the Khumalo section last week.
JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng police say the two men who allegedly brutally killed two Katlehong teenagers and a seven-month-old baby are suspected of trying to kill two other family members.
The murder suspects are believed to be the deceased teenagers' cousins.
The suspects were attacked by members of the community after they tried to flee the crime scene.
Gauteng Community Safety MEC Sizakele Nkosi-Malobane says, "One of the sisters was actually stabbed 36 times. They even attempted to kill the owner of the house, who is a grandmother to the people who died."
