'Sindisiwe Manqele’s bail conditions are strict enough'
Manqele was this week convicted of her boyfriend Nkululeko ‘Flabba’ Habedi’s murder in March.
JOHANNESBURG - The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) says it believes the bail conditions attached to convicted murderer Sindisiwe Manqele's bail are strict enough.
On Thursday, the High Court sitting in Randburg granted Manqele R15,000 bail.
Manqele will face sentencing on 9 March, exactly a year after she killed Habedi.
The NPA's Luvuyo Mfaku says although the state had opposed bail, they're satisfied with the bail conditions.
"The court has ordered that she wear an ankle device. She has to inform the investigating officer whenever she leaves the house."
