JOHANNESBURG - The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) says it believes the bail conditions attached to convicted murderer Sindisiwe Manqele's bail are strict enough.

On Thursday, the High Court sitting in Randburg granted Manqele R15,000 bail.

On Wednesday, she was found guilty of murdering her boyfriend Nkululeko Habedi, the rapper popularly known as Flabba.

Manqele will face sentencing on 9 March, exactly a year after she killed Habedi.

The NPA's Luvuyo Mfaku says although the state had opposed bail, they're satisfied with the bail conditions.

"The court has ordered that she wear an ankle device. She has to inform the investigating officer whenever she leaves the house."
