2 top Red Ants employees face 102 charges of fraud, theft
Dennis Klassen and his daughter, Rochelle Adonis, allegedly committed the crimes between 2010 and 2013.
JOHANNESBURG - Two senior employees of the Red Ants are facing a total of 102 charges of fraud and theft after they allegedly defrauded the company's assets and shares to the tune of about R8 million.
Former Red Ants director, Dennis Klassen, and his 38-year-old daughter, Rochelle Adonis, allegedly committed the crimes between 2010 and 2013.
The police's Vish Naidoo says the pair appeared in the Johannesburg Magistrates Court where their case has been postponed to next year.
"This matter is being investigated by one of our specialised units. After the investigation, a summons was served on both the father and daughter a few weeks ago. The matter is now postponed for further investigation."
It's emerged Klassen is also facing fraud charges in the Randburg Magistrates Court where he is out on bail.
