The British Royal is wrapping up his visit to South Africa which included stops today in Newtown and at a school in Soweto.
Machel walked into what used to the office of her late husband, Nelson Mandela, with Prince Harry, laughing and apologising about being a bit late.
She then showed the Prince where Madiba used to sit when he had guests over.
Prince Harry also took time to view the archives preserved by the Centre of Memory.
The royal concluded his South African tour with the message that although Mandela is missed by many, he won't be forgotten by the world.
He says it was a great honour to have met his widow.
"I would like to thank all the South Africans I've met over the last few days; they were incredibly warm and the hospitable and I look forward to seeing you again soon."
