Prince Harry touches down in CT for Polo Cup
The stage is set at Val de Vie Estate, the Western Cape’s Polo venue for the 6th Annual Royal Salute Polo Cup.
CAPE TOWN - Prince Harry has landed in Cape Town for the 6th Annual Royal Salute Polo Cup. The gala event, hosted in Paarl today, in his honour of a Lesotho Aids Charity, Sentebale.
The British Royal is joined by fellow Lesotho Royal, Prince Bereng Seeiso.
The stage is set at Val de Vie Estate, the Western Cape's Premier Polo venue for the 6th Annual Royal Salute Polo Cup.
This is the first time since its inception that the equestrian event is hosted in Africa.
Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso from the Lesotho are the honoured guests at the gala event hosted for AIDS charity, Sentebale in Lesotho.
Val de Vie's Ryk Neetling jokingly explains, the charity event is not all fun-and-games.
"So there's some pride on the line but I think it's all for a good course and I think the people will be surprised by how well today is."
The game is expected to kick off this afternoon.
