Kenya arrests 2 Iranian planning terror attack

Interior Ministry released a statement saying the two had planned to attack Nairobi.

NAIROBI - Kenyan authorities have arrested two Iranians suspected of planning to stage an attack in Nairobi, the Interior Ministry announced on Twitter.

"Two Iranians arrested by KE (Kenyan) security agencies with a plan to mount a terror attack in NBI (Nairobi). The plan was foiled and suspects arrested," the Interior Ministry wrote.

An Interior Ministry spokesman confirmed the report.
