CT to host Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition

The exhibition, which has attracted about 30 million visitors worldwide, will boast some priceless objects.

JOHANNESBURG - Today Cape Town will, for the first time, be able to boast with one of the world's most popular traveling exhibitions.

Priceless objects will be on display at the Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition which has attracted about 30 million visitors worldwide.

The exhibition opens today at the V & A Waterfront and will run until March 2016.

Exhibition director Nick Dreyer said, "It tells this beautiful story through the actual artifacts. It's a chronological journey from how the Titanic was conceived, what it was like to be on board, what the sounds and sights were like on board and of course the terrible evening when it sank."
