Violent clashes break out at TUT
Exams at TUT's Soshanguve campus have been suspended until Monday.
It's believed a bus load of people arrived on campus this afternoon and have been damaging buildings with all staff and students being urged to evacuate.
Exams at TUT's Soshanguve campus have been suspended until Monday following clashes between officers and demonstrators this week.
TUT spokesperson Willa de Ruyter says, "The people who arrived at the Pretoria campus seemed very violent, they have been vandalising property and staff and students have been advised to leave the campus for their own safety."
It's being reported that buildings have been set alight.
