Simons Town fire rages on, threatening nearby property
The fire broke out yesterday & is mostly inaccessible, high up on the mountain slopes.
CAPE TOWN - There are fears property may be in danger at the scene of a fire near Simons Town.
Earlier, firefighters reported they had managed to contain a large part of a blaze in Klawer Valley.

The fire broke out yesterday and is mostly inaccessible, high up on the mountain slopes.
South African National Parks's fire Chief Phillip Prins says it's likely crews will remain on the scene throughout today.
"We have also dispatched a helicopter from our side. The navy dispatched two Oryx helicopters and we also have two fixed wing bombers on site."
