Kevin Anderson nominated for top ATP award

The 2015 ATP World Tour Awards recognise the outstanding players and tournaments of the Tour.

JOHANNESBURG - South African tennis ace Kevin Anderson has been nominated by the ATP World Tour as one of 20 outstanding players of 2015.

The popular world number 12 will need his country's full support should he have any chance of winning the title.

Anderson was named for the Fans' Favorite Awards which includes amongst others Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray and Gael Monfils.

The 2015 ATP World Tour Awards, presented by Mo√ęt & Chandon, recognise the outstanding players and tournaments of the Tour.

The winners of each category are decided by the fans' through a global on line voting process.

Anderson said that he was honoured to be nominated by the fans and hopes that he would get their support through the voting process.
