Estate agent in Krejcir’s phone smuggling case granted bail
Amanda Papoutsis (45) has no previous convictions and the state did not oppose her R3,000 bail.
Amanda Papoutsis, aged 45, has been released on R3,000 bail.
Last month, authorities claimed to have foiled an elaborate escape plan by Krejcir who had been plotting to break out of the Zonderwater Prison.
The property agent and mother has no previous convictions and the state did not oppose her bail today.
She was released on bail and will return to court again in early December.
The agent from Bedfordview had claimed to be visiting Krejcir to discuss the sale of his home.
A phone was discovered in a pair of shoes she had given him when the device rang; Krejcir's son Dennis was on the other end of the line.
It's also emerged that phones were discovered, hidden in an electric frying pan and a kettle given to the Czech.
