DUMPING BABY GIRLS ON THE RISE IN CHINA

Earlier this year a Chinese author and journalist claimed baby dumping was on the rise because it's cheaper than abortion.

Xue Xinran said in August dumping baby girls down the toilet is becoming a trend.

She said over 100,000 baby girls are abandoned each year, because of the one-child policy implemented in 1979.
