JOHANNESBURG - The Springboks have made one change to their side that beat the USA for this Saturday's Rugby World Cup quarterfinal match against with Wales.

JP Pietersen has recovered from injury and replaces Lwazi Mvovo.

Fourie du Preez will captain the side.

Coach Heyneke Meyer says that Victor Matfield was very close to selection, but his hamstring wasn't 100 percent.

On the Welsh team, Meyer said, "If you look at Wales they're a quality side. They're a very dangerous team, a very tight forward battle. The one thing that we've sorted out is the way that we want to play."

Meyer said Brian Habana is peaking at the right time.

"He's playing probably his best rugby I've seen in some time."
