NEW YORK - The first Democrats Debate of the 2016 US Presidential race will take place in Las Vegas tonight.
Republican candidates have already taken part in two debates, now the five Democrats candidates will have their turn to go head to head on major issues expected to take precedence in next year's election.
The debate is the first time Americans will see the candidates side by side, with Hilary Clinton as the centre speaker, Bernie Sanders to her right and Martin O'Malley to her left, the two highest polling candidates after the former US state secretary.
Clinton, the Democratic front-runner, and Sanders, a US senator from Vermont who is her prime challenger, will take part on Tuesday at 8:30 pm in the first of six scheduled debates in the race to be the party's nominee in the November 2016 presidential election.
Many pundits see this as a chance for the lesser profile names to let people know what they're about.
And vice president Joe Biden has until tomorrow to decide whether or not he's running too.
