City of Cape Town honours the Tutus
The iconic old granary building in Cape Town will be dedicated to two Tutu foundations.
CAPE TOWN - The City of Cape Town has handed over a historic building to the Desmond and Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation.
Today the Executive Mayor Patricia de Lille announced the City's plans to honour the arch and his wife.

The mayor praised Tutu and his wife for their roles in the fight against apartheid.
"The arch says reconciliation is not an event, its's a process and so we want to continue to build on that."
Next week, the iconic old granary building in Cape Town will be dedicated to the foundation.
The City will be renovating the more than 200-year-old building.
De Lille will also be dedicating her council speech to the Tutus at the end of the month and a reconciliation walk is being planned for 16 December.
