Prince Harry drowns sorrows after England defeat
Harry reportedly looked 'crestfallen' after his team's exit from the RWC.
JOHANNESBURG - Poor Prince Harry was unable to stop himself from showing emotion as he watched his national rugby team become the first host nation and former RWC winner to be booted out of the Rugby World Cup in the tournament's group stages.
_ The Express_ described Harry as looking "crestfallen" when he went for a pint or two to drown his sorrows at a London bar after watching the Bulldog's defeat at the hands of bitter rivals the Wallabies.
_ The Daily Mail_ reports that when the prince emerged from the South Kensington restaurant and bar he appeared somewhat shoddier, having taken off the English rugby jersey and opting for casual jeans and a T-shirt.
Harry had donned the Bulldogs jersey and animatedly supported his national side during the game that saw his side make their historic exit.
The prince pulled a number of agonised expressions, sharing the pain with fellow fans watching the English ship sink.
Harry attended the game in his position as honorary president of England Rugby 2015.
England were defeated 33-13 by Australia, a move which knocked them out of the tournament.
It is also the first time England has failed to make the knockout stages.
Australia's win has guaranteed their place in the quarter-finals along with Wales.
