All Blacks book their spot in the #RWC2015 quarter-finals
New Zealand beat Georgia 43 - 10 at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff last night.
JOHANNESBURG - New Zealand ran in seven tries to comfortably defeat Georgia in a Pool C encounter at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, a result that confirmed the defending champions as the first side to book a spot in the Rugby World Cup quarter-finals.
While the scoreboard may suggest it was an easy outing for the All Blacks, coach Steve Hansen wasn't overly happy as his side made a number of uncharacteristic errors and failed to get out of second gear against the 15th ranked Georgia.
The highlight of the game was Julian Savea's hat-trick, and while New Zealand remain outright favourites at this year's World Cup, they will undoubtedly lift their game a level or two, with a match against Tonga and tougher assignments coming up in the knockout rounds.
