Blaze in WC kills one, leaves six displaced

CAPE TOWN - The City of Cape Town's Fire and Rescue Services said one man has died in a fire in Kensington.

Several people have been displaced after the blaze broke out last night.

The City's Theo Layne said the cause of the fire is not yet known and the case has been handed over to the police for investigation.

"We had three structures that were destroyed by the fire, it left approximately six people displaced. There were no other injuries reported except for one fatality, an adult male died as a result of burn wounds."
