JOHANNESBURG - The girlfriend of slain rapper Nkululeko 'Flabba' Habedi is today expected to reveal details of exactly what happened on the morning she stabbed him to death.

Sindisiwe Manqele began testifying in the High Court sitting in Randburg yesterday.

She's accused of killing Flabba at his home in Alexandra in March.

Manqele's evidence in chief has taken more than a day.

So far she has told the court that Flabba's jealousy and rage is what led to an altercation between the couple moments before his death.

Manqele said he was the aggressor on the night of his death and had become verbally abusive towards her after seeing her speaking to another man at a nightclub in Sandton, where he gave his last performance.

Last week however, friends of the musician testified that Manqele was upset when Flabba's ex-girlfriend known as 'Kea', joined them for drinks and had a brief conversation with her a former lover.

Today, Manqele's defence council Norman Makhubela is expected to question her about the morning when she stabbed the rapper in his heart.

She has denied most evidence presented by the State and said she stabbed him in self-defence.
