Man electrocuted at Joburg train depot

It's unclear how the incident happened at the Transnet depot, but an investigation is now underway.

JOHANNESBURG - A worker has been electrocuted at a train depot in Braamfontein this morning.

It's unclear how the incident happened at the Transnet depot, but an investigation is now underway.

Netcare 911's Chris Botha says the man died at around 5:30 this morning.

"When we arrived there the paramedics found that the man had tragically died due to the severe injuries that he'd sustained. The matter will up for investigated as to the cause of this accident."
