Mfundi Vundla’s son premieres his film at Toronto Film Festival
Charlie Vundla’s ‘Cuckold’ debuted in the contemporary world cinema section of the festival.
TORONTO - South African filmmaker and actor Charlie Vundla premiered his latest movie at the Toronto Film Festival on Saturday night.
The film, called Cuckold, debuted in the contemporary world cinema section of the festival, known as "TIFF."
Vundla told Eyewitness News that it felt surreal to premiere Cuckold at the festival.
"This is a really small scale independent film, I made it with my friends and to get the validation of an official selection at world premiere of TIFF, it's just mind blowing."
His father and fellow director Mfundi Vundla was among the audience.
