More evidence sought in ex-cop's arms deal case
Christiaan Prinsloo is believed to have provided arms dealer Alan Raves with confiscated firearms.
CAPE TOWN - The prosecution in the case against a former Gauteng police officer accused of selling guns to Cape Town gangsters says it needs more time to investigate the matter.
Ex-cop Christiaan Prinsloo appeared in the Bellville Regional Court with the man who is alleged to have removed the serial numbers of the guns before they were sold.
The two accused didn't make eye contact as they stood in the dock.
Prinsloo is believed to have provided arms dealer Alan Raves with confiscated firearms.
The state alleges the firearms supplied have been used in various crimes like murders and attempted murders.
They are back in court on 20 November.
