WP rugby player recovers after heart attack

CAPE TOWN - A DHL Western Province U21 rugby player who is believed to have suffered cardiac arrest during a match is showing signs of improvement.
Daniel du Plessis collapsed during a match at Newlands on Saturday.
They were playing against the Leopards from North West Province.
In a statement the Western Province Rugby Union says he was resuscitated and stabalised by paramedics after he collapsed.
Once stabalised, the under-21 player was transferred to Vincent Pallotti Hospital, where he was put in a medically induced coma.
The union says the hooker is making steady progress and has been taken off a ventilator and is now sitting up and talking.
