2 kids killed in shack fire in Vlakfontein

JOHANNESBURG - Two children have died in a shack fire in Vlakfontein, south of Johannesburg.
The children aged one and three were left in the care of their eight year old brother who left before the fire broke out yesterday.
It's understood the children's mother had left paraffin stove on and was visiting neighbours.
Emergency services Robert Mulaudzi says another one year old baby suffered burns on the face, and is receiving treatment at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.
"The fourth child, who's an eight-year-old, who was supposed to be looking after the three young boys, survived unharmed and the cause of the fire it's believed to be paraffin stove, which was in use when the fire started."
